Invitation
The EITA Smart Cities Forum 2016 (EITA Knowledge and Smart Technology 2016), will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Maclaurin Buildings (4), Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, U.S.A.. The conference theme of the EITA Smart Cities Forum 2016 is "Knowledge, Smart Technology and the Internet of Things: Challenges, Opportunities and Future Directions".
The main objective of the EITA Smart Cities Forum 2016 is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in "Smart Cities, Knowledge, Smart Technology, Big Data, Cloud Computing, and the Internet of Things". This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration.
We are pleased to invite you to attend the EITA Smart Cities Forum 2016 and submit proposals (invited talks only) for papers, panels, demonstrations, and SIG discussions. The Conference Review Policy requires that each proposal will be peer-reviewed for inclusion in the conference program and the electronic proceedings.
Workshops
The EITA Smart Cities Forum 2016 conference consists of two parallel workshops:
- Workshop 1 (W1): Smart Cities, the Internet of Things, Smart Technologies and Applications: (Smart Computing, Smart Mobility and Transportation, Smart
Environments, Smart Supply Chain and Logistics, Smart Manufacturing, Smart Energy Systems, Smart Weather Forecasting, and ....)
- Workshop 2 (W2): Smart Healthcare Technologies, Services and Applications: (Computational Intelligence, Emerging Intelligent Technologies, Data-driven Discoveries and Uncertainty Quantification, High Performance/High Throughput (HPC/HTC), and Cloud Computing)

Proceedings
All
paper submissions must be written in English and will be peer-reviewed.
Accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings (electronic formats)
as well as on the EITA Smart Cities Forum 2016 website. You may download the
Proceedings through the Internet. These proceedings serve as major
sources in the global high-tech community, reflecting the current state
of the art in the disciplines.
