Volunteer Service Awards

This annual award is presented to an individual who has contributed dedicated and important volunteer service to the EITC team.

Recipients receive a plaque engraved with their name, merits, and signed by the chair of EITC managing committee. The award is presented by the chair of EITC managing committee at an EITC conference/workshop during EITC's award presentation session.

The selection committee is appointed by the chair of the EITC managing committee and consists of a combination of recent recipients of the award and current EITC management team members. The committee solicits nominations from the members of the EITC advisory board and the EITC managing committee, in the context of the nominees' specific and general contributions to the EITC team.

Nominations should be made electronically to the current chair of the selection committee no later than July 1 of each year.

  • 500 hours or more of volunteer service over a year.

Distinguished Service Award Criteria

  • Individual who has contributed dedicated and important volunteer service to the EITC team.
  • 10,000 hours or more of volunteer service over a lifetime.
