EITC 2011-YIC--The first annual EITC Young Investigator Conference is an international forum, organized by the Emerging Information and Technology Conference (EITC). It will be held on Thursday-Friday, August 18-19, 2011 at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, U.S.A.. The conference theme for EITC 2011-YIC is "Leadership, Innovation, Growth". The main purpose of the EITC is connecting the dots to form a big picture for vision and talents. This annual conference, bringing together a global network of today's best thinkers, visionaries and thought leaders, serves as a multi-disciplinary forum for the discussion and exchange of information on the research, development, and applications on all topics related to New Energy/Environment/Sustainability, Medicine/Public Health/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics, Nanotechnology/NEMS/MEMS, SoC (System-on-a-Chip)/C4I (Content, Computer, Communications, Consumer Electronics, and Integration), Intelligent Infrastructure/Smart Sensing/Emergency Preparedness/Sustainability, Business/Management - Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

The EITC is committed to bringing young scientists/engineers together to discuss their current research and build informal network with their peers that may lead to a lifetime of collaboration and scientific achievement. To that end, the EITC has established the EITC Young Investigator Conference, a series of 2-day meetings organized by graduate students, post-docs, and young college faculty members with the support of distinguished scientists/engineers of the EITC advisory board.

We are pleased to invite you to attend EITC 2011-YIC and submit proposals for papers, posters, panels, demonstrations, workshops, corporate showcases/demos, and SIG discussions. The Conference Review Policy requires that each proposal will be peer-reviewed by for inclusion in the conference program, and CD-ROM proceedings.

Accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings (CD-ROM formats) as well as on the EITC 2011-YIC website.
