EITC-Bio 2010--The 2nd Bio workshop on bioinformatics and biomedical Research will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Computer Science Instructional Center, the University of Maryland. The conference theme for EITC-Bio 2010 is "Next Generation Sequencing". Please visit the website at http://www.eitc.org/ for more conference details.

Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) is driving growth within the basic and biomedical research communities. NGS technologies are revolutionizing genomics and their effects are becoming increasingly widespread. Many tools and algorithms relevant to NGS applications have been developed.

We are pleased to invite you to attend EITC-Bio 2010 and submit proposals for papers, panels, demonstrations, and SIG discussions. The Conference Review Policy requires that each proposal will be peer-reviewed by for inclusion in the conference program, and CD-ROM proceedings.
