- Origin of EITA
The Emerging Information Technology Association (EITA) is a federated, non-political, non-religious, non-profit international organization (virtual organization) founded in 1999 by Michael Hwa-han Wang, a former researcher at AT&T Bell Labs, New Jersey, USA.
EITA encourages interdisciplinary partnerships between visionary scholars, innovative educators, industry and creative leaders.
- Mission Statement
EITA is now (eitc.org), a subsidiary of EBMedia, LLC.
EITA's mission has two goals:
- To push the frontiers of emerging technologies and services.
- To build a creative and innovative economy - a new knowledge-based digital economy for the 21st century.
- Diversity Statement
EITA is committed to building a diverse, inclusive, equitable and accessible community.
EITA encourages and assists our community members to form teams that engage everyone, promote innovation and support the application of new knowledge.
Together, our broad community forms the basis for the added value of the people and communities we engage with locally and internationally.
