How to get to/from Princeton from/to airport

  • JFK airport, New York. It is 2 hours away, not recommended. If you have to use it and need information please contact us.

  • Newark airport, New Jersey. (We recommend this airport, you can take monorail from airport to train station, then buy ticket -about $15 one way- to Princeton. You will then ride train to Princeton Junction and transfer a short train to get to Princeton University. Then walk or use a taxi to hotel.)
  • New Jersey Transit Train

As an alternative, you can take Olympic Airporter bus (call 1-800-385-4000 or 1.800-822-9797 or visit http://www.olympic-limo.com/ to book reservations online using a credit card.) Here is where and how to use it.

  • Philadelphia airport, Pennsylvania
  • From airport take R1 to 30th street station, then r7 to Trenton, then New Jersey transit to Princeton Junction, then to Princeton. Check out this site: http://www.septa.org/maps/click_map.html

However, if you don't want to transfer trains 3 times, a rental car is a better choice. And the route is not complex, just take 95 North into New Jersey (about 1 hour), take exit 7B and then 206 North into downtown Princeton (about 20 minutes).

As an alternative, you can take Olympic Airporter bus (call 1-800-385-4000 or 1.800-822-9797 or visit http://www.olympic-limo.com/ to book reservations online using a credit card.)
