EITA Steering Committees

- Objectives
EITA’s Steering Committee is a group of senior managers and key stakeholders responsible for providing strategic guidance, oversight and decision-making for the strategic plan of the organization, ensuring that EITA projects are aligned with overall business goals and objectives and that project investments are aligned with EITA’s strategic direction. In essence, they “steer” EITA’s oversight and decision-making strategy.
- Key Responsibilities
The EITA Steering Committee includes representatives from different divisions such as IT, Business Development, Finance and Operations who can bring different perspectives.
While not involved in day-to-day operations, the Steering Committee is empowered to make key decisions on the strategic direction and resource allocation of the project.
Responsibilities of the EITA Steering Committee:
- Determine project priorities
- Approve major project investments
- Monitor the progress of project plans
- Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies
- Ensure that project strategies are aligned with the overall goals of EITA
