Welcome to the Emerging Information and Technology Conference (EITC), a nonprofit, international volunteer organization (a virtual voluntary organization) managed by and for the benefit of the R&D community worldwide. The EITC, coordinated by the Emerging Information and Technology Association (EITA), provides a General International Forum (the EITA-EITC Forum) for the advancement of emerging technologies and services.

The EITA is organizing/organized many Academic and Professional Conferences/Workshops (the EITA Forums) in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014, respectively. Meetings will be/were held in New York, Massachusetts, California, Illinois, New Jersey, Texas in the United States and internationally in Taiwan, Canada, and Europe. For over 13 years, The EITA's high-quality, cost-effective meetings have been recognized as the world's premier scientific and engineering conferences, where leading investigators from around the globe discuss their latest work and future challenges in a uniquely informal, interactive format.

The EITA is committed to bringing young scientists/engineers together to discuss their current research and build informal network with their peers that may lead to a lifetime of collaboration and scientific achievement. To that end, the EITA has established a General Young Investigator Conference (the EITA-YIC Forum), a series of 2-day meetings organized by graduate students, post-docs, and young college faculty members with the support of distinguished scientists/engineers of the EITA-EITC advisory board.

The EITA Forums are run entirely by the worldwide volunteers. Administrative costs are kept low because volunteers cover many of these costs themselves.
